Our story starts in Sherwood Park, where we lived most of our lives. But Skeleton Lake has always been close to our hearts. Since I was a kid, my family spent summers here — quadding through the trails, boating on the lake, and making the kind of memories that stay with you forever.

My dad was the first entrepreneur in our family. He was an inspiration to me and my two sisters. A few years ago, he started putting the finishing touches on the lake lot that had become our family’s second home. But tragedy struck, and we lost him before he could see it complete.

We weren’t willing to let go of what he built with his own two hands. My wife and I made the choice to move out here full time, to carry on the dream my dad started — to have a space where the whole family could come whenever they needed to escape the city. Our home has become that open door, a place where loved ones can find peace and refuge by the lake.

We sold our house in Sherwood Park and started a business here, just like Dad once did. He always taught me that if you lead with respect and integrity, business will follow. That’s the practice we carry into every part of our lives — with family, with friends, and in our work.

We’re deeply grateful for how supportive our community has been. Neighbors have trusted us, connected us to opportunities, and passed our name along. Because of that support, we’re building a life here at Skeleton Lake — in memory of my father, and in service to the people who make this community home.
